And you probably know by now that to make really big money you have to build a team, but this article isn’t about team building, rather the other side of owning a MLM business- Sales. Are you looking to increase yours sales in your direct sales business? Like in any new business it can be difficult to get the sales you need in the beginning. Here are some tips to help you get started to increasing you overall sales volume.
Use Social Media In Your Direct Sales Biz
I shall not tell a lie; this is neither my favorite nor my greatest marketing skill right now, but your first step should be to make the best out of social media, hopefully you’ll do it better than me! Once you have you’re your website up and running, create a Facebook page about your business and fill this with compelling content. It wouldn’t hurt to have a Twitter account as well. You can incorporate other social media sites such as Google+ and LinkedIn, but I wouldn’t go further than that. Keeping up with your social media marketing can be time consuming, so it may be best to narrow your efforts to 2 or 3 sites.
The purpose of this type of marketing is obvious; it will help increase exposure of your business and bring you more customers. Just make sure that whatever you do on social media it doesn’t in any way resemble spamming! You want to be engaged on social media sites and provide useful information to people along with promoting your business. Make sure you provide links on these sites to your business website or blog and vice versa so people can connect with others about your content.
Give Something For Free
There’s not a person on this planet that doesn’t enjoy something for free! My husband loves free t-shirts, it doesn’t matter from who, or what it says on it, he just gets excited if it’s free, go figure. It’s hilarious! On that note, In addition to whatever you’re selling for profit you need to entice the buyer with a lot of free extras that are included when they purchase a product from you. This can be anything from a free e-book or samples of some other type of product. This is especially important if you sell online exclusively. People love free items and this can help you increase your overall sales. If you sell offline, make sure you have plenty of samples and free products you can give away to people to get them interested in your main offerings. If you give them something other than the main offering you give them more of an incentive to buy again and this can be a powerful way to attract more sales. These people will tell others about your products.
Use Email Lists
The best thing you can do to get leads is to use an email form to capture leads. If someone visits your website for the first time they might not be in the mood to buy right that red hot second or they might be hesitant to buy form you because they don’t know who you are. If you can get them to sign up for a newsletter or join your email list, then you have a powerful way to get leads. Here is where you can add in a free offering such as an e-book to generate interest in the person to sign up for your mailing list. Once you do this you have a potential new customer. Just make sure your mailings are periodic as you don’t want to spam anyone with your selling.
Target the Right Market
It’s important to do your research before you start selling. You want to make sure your products or services are meeting the needs of the right market. Make sure that you’re selling something unique and of value to people, if your product is similar to many others or in a very popular niche, then put your personal touch on the product, use your unique personality to market the product in a way that only one can. What makes you stand out? Once you know this you can target the right market that will lead to more sales.
You can amplify your sales if you go about it the right way, but also be aware that your mind set is the ultimate key to your success. Focus solely and completely on your dream, stay positive, and with a little time and effort you will see financial success.
Build Your Team
Don’t forget, multi level marketing whether it’s through direct sales or network marketing, is about building an organization first and selling second. By yourself you can only do so much in regards to moving your products and increasing your sales volume. Team building and helping people to build their own business organization is where the real money is at. There is power in numbers and this business is definitely a numbers game, create a powerhouse of like minded people and there will be no limit to your income potential.
